Food habbits leading to arterial narrowing  or obstructive path way  causing ischemia. Smoking and heavy fat diet is to completely avoided . Keeping mental peace is very important.  Hypertension is a major risk factor for cardiovascular events, including ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke Use of garlic, lemon, ginger, turmeric and good sleep is important for better health. There are best way treating high blood pressure in Ayurveda. But for emergency the use of diuretics, beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, or angiotensin receptor blockers causes a good  reduction in reducing coronary events and stroke for a given reduction in blood pressure.Its important to know from ancient Ayurveda well explained drugs were used to cure stroke and give good muscular strength  to walk  as usual. Some drugs were specifically used and found cure. Its important to judge the conditions of patient before going for any type of treatment.predominance of vata dosha and seat of vata has been explained well. Anxiety, tension tends to increase vata.
