      Antioxidants are compounds that inhibit oxidation. Oxidation is a chemical reaction that can produce free radicals, thereby leading to chain reactions that may damage the cells of organisms. It has been explained  how oxidants are reactive molecules that are produced both inside your body and the environment that can react with other cellular molecules in your body such as protein, DNA and lipids. When it does that, it damages molecules and causes disease and inflammation. Antioxidants such as thiols or ascorbic acid (vitamin C) terminate these chain reactions. Antioxidant helps neutralize cell-damaging molecules or free radicals. Oxidation can damage vital molecules in our cells, including DNA and proteins, which are responsible for many body processes.  The eye is very important organ. Without eye we have to be dependent for everything on others.  In eye purpose of the nasolacrimal system is to drain tears from the ocular surface to the lacrimal sac and ultimately, the nasal cavity. This is done by nasolacrimal duct. Nasolachrymal duct  is a channel that allows tears to drain from the external eye to the nasal cavity. A nasolacrimal duct obstruction is an acquired or congenital. When this  drainage system is  obstructed results in epiphora or excessive tearing. By this,  nasolacrimal system can cause tears to flow over the eyelid and down the cheek; the  condition is called  epiphora.The opening of the nasolacrimal duct into the inferior nasal meatus of the nasal cavity is partially covered by a mucosal fold.
